Rellim

Question or Symptom	Remedy
When opeing the Rellim software, a flag comes up and says that the license will expire on the 31st December 2007	You will need to install the latest Rellim file. Go to Electrajet Downloads and get the latest Rellim file and follow the instruction to install.

WINDOWS 2000 & XP

Question or Symptom	Remedy
When licensing the Windows 2000 or XP ElectraSpec program there are no site code numbers.	You will need to install the NT driver. Go to Electrajet Downloads and get the latest NT Driver file and install following the instructions at that page.

WINDOWS NT

Question or Symptom	Remedy
When licensing the Windows NT ElectraSpec program there are no site code numbers.	You will need to install the NT driver. Go to Electrajet Downloads and get the latest NT Driver file and install following the instructions at that page.
You are unable to read the TEXT in the program and it looks like code	You will need to check "Control Panel", "Fonts" and see that the MS Linedraw font is installed. If it is not, locate the font under C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32 and install it. If you are unable to locate the fonts, go to Electrajet Downloads and download the MS Linedraw fonts. Remember to restart the PC so as the changes can take affect.
You are unable to load the MS Linedraw font from Control Panel.	Please contact Electrajet Australia Pty Ltd direct on 1300 736 079 during office hours. We will guide you through the correction process.

WINDOWS 3.1, 95 & 98

Question or Symptom	Remedy
I have just upgraded my Dos version to a Windows version. I have paid for and registered the Windows version but have limited information on how to use it.	Contact your distributor for the Windows Upgrade Package. There you will find the operating manual for the Windows Version.
When licensing the Windows upgrade from DOS, the licence site code does not work.	When licensing a Windows upgrade version, the "System" section must be licensed. This can only be done by selecting "System" and then "License Single Volume" when carrying out licensing
When running Windows 95 and the graphics look very poor, what am I doing wrong	Make sure that the screen driver is set at 16 Bit Colour. This is the setting for the display driver.
t100/CSM works correrctly for a short period of time then loses communication with the t100 and stops working.	On Laptops computers manufacturers are always looking for ways of saving power to extend battery time. They cut down on consumption by switching off different parts of the laptop. It is important that ALL power saving options are turned OFF when using the t100/CSM hardware.
Unable to initialise the t100/CSM.	LPT Port not working correctly. Try plugging a printer into the LPT Port used by the t100. If the printer does not work, then the port or settings are not correct.
Unable to initialise the t100/CSM.	Make sure that the LPT port is set to ECP communication in the BIOS.
Range files will not scroll.	In the cold climates where temperatures go below 10 Degree C, PC's will stop working correctly. For accurate and correct operation, make sure the internal equipment temperatures are above 10 Degree C.

Unable to access "Printer Setup"	This is a previous known fault. To rectify, go to "Downloads" , download and install the latest Interactive software or contact us here at support and we will send you the required software.
The Volvo 940 EST and Volvo 360 EFI ELECTRAJET programs are reading the wrong terminals	Reload Release 5 software available from your distributor, or directly from ti Diagnostic Solutions. This will fix this problem.
Unable to initialise the t100/CSM.	Release later than 4 of the software does not have an automatic search for the T100/CSM. The Port that the T100/CSM is attached to, needs to be set manually. Select Options, then Driver Options to do this.

DOS

Question or Symptom	Remedy
Installation program fails video test	Install Display Doctor VESA drivers from \VIDEO\UNIVBE on your CD or get the latest version from SciTech Software
T100 does not initialise	Check power supply. Ensure Data link cable is securely attached to the PC and t-100
Printing Library files with line draw characters produces strange characters instead of lines	Set printer to use IBM graphics character set (DIP switch or front panel settings)

When looking at ECU terminal name and pin orientation in other wiring diagrams, tbey don't match the ESG terminal name or pin orientation.	This is because there are many ways of drawing and naming ECU terminals. Some pictures may be drawn looking into the terminal side of the ECU connector, while others look at the wire side of the ECU connector. ECU terminal names will also vary. Some manufacturer use Alpha numeric naming, while others use codes. Due to the many variations discussed, when editing the ECU terminals you must follow the ESG2000 standards. All ECU connectors are shown looking into the wire side of the ECU connector. All ECU terminal names must follow the template in the ESG program.
How accurate is the ESG2000	Very accurate. All data MUST be taken from a known good vehicle. The more information you save initially, the easier it is to diagnose next time.
